Deploy Action Labs (501(c)(3)) conducts research, provides education, and convenes diverse stakeholders to advance affordable, reliable, and clean energy deployment.

We bring together labor, environmental organizations, utilities, technology companies and hyperscalers, policymakers, and other experts to examine how states can accommodate growing electricity demand while making better use of the grid infrastructure consumers have already paid for.

Our work helps stakeholders understand how a more efficient and flexible electric grid can reduce costs for consumers, improve reliability, and support continued clean energy deployment and resilience

As a team of Department of Energy veterans, industry leaders, and former elected officials, we draw on deep experience across the energy ecosystem to facilitate collaboration and share research and best practices.

We focus on challenges including grid utilization, permitting, interconnection, rate design, project financing, and the integration of large new loads.

We also provide research and technical assistance on community benefit planning, helping stakeholders explore ways that new energy and infrastructure investments can deliver meaningful benefits to the communities in which they are located
